And just like, the movies...

Anyone else ever watch a movie and suddenly feel inspired to dress up? I feel like this constantly! Movies like Clueless, The Craft, Grease, and 500 Days of Summer are just a few to name. Two of my favorite styles are from the early 40's and 90's, especially when they are put together. When I was younger, my sister, my best friend Sarah and I would always dress up as Cher, Dionne and Tai from "Clueless". We would argue over which girl we were! We would dig through each others closets and try to find an outfit that looked similar to theirs. It was alot of fun when you were a kid! Then, as we got older, my sister and I went through the whole "goth" stage for quite some time, and "The Craft" totally inspired us how to dress. At the time, it really fit our lifestyle- we were going to private school, so we mixed our own little "gothic" taste with our school girl outfits. Of course more than 80 percent of the time, we were told to wash off the black eyeliner and take off some jewelry, but we still tried, haha. Thankfully that stage is over, but some elements of the Goth style still catch my eye. So, in honor of parts of my childhood -and still some of my influence to this day- I give you stills from these two awesome movies. Enjoy!
